Aureole nodes encourage people to maximize their use of virtual space and minimize their time in the organic world, but they do offer some real-world amenities for those people who absolutely need it. The biking and walking paths, for example, wind through and around the aureole node, both inside and outside of the node's environmentally-controlled "civil zone".
