The Cross Transport is a super-highway system, used mostly by heavy, fast-moving vehicles and trains, to transport large quantities of goods and material, and people, to/from other aureole nodes, and to/from traditional cities and towns. At an aureole node, the cross transport ends with a connection terminal, at the Industrial Center. Capable vehicles from within an aureole node can enter the cross transport system, to either connect to a large train and ride along with the train, or transfer people and/or cargo to a large train while on the move.
